• NURSERY

We have two nurseries.  One is for 2 years and under, and the other is for 2 & 3 year olds. 

All caregivers have gone throuh background checks and are members of the church.

You can leave your children in a warm, loving environment during any service including the Sunday school hour.  We care deeply about your peace of mind.  We have an up to date paging system to notify you if your presence is needed in the nursery.  You will be issued a pager when you drop off you child/children.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Ministry:  Danny & Nicole Rockafellow

We have Awana clubs for ages 3yrs up to 6th grade.  This starts at 6:30pm preceded by a cost free meal beginning at 5pm.

The children are involved in various activites throughout the year, including outings, special holiday events, VBS, and summer camp.

BEGINNING MAY 26TH AWANAS WILL NOT BE IN SESSION.  HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR KIDDO!

  • YOUTH MINISTRY

Ministry:  Alfred Herrera

The youth are involved in many activites at Southside Baptist Church.  We suggest you check out the three main times, which are Sunday @ 9:30am, Wednesday @ 5pm and Thrusday @ 5pm.

                                      SINGLE LADIES MINISTRY

Ministry: BJ Hartfield & Annette Rummel

The single ladies meet on or around the third Saturday of each month.  They have a great time of fellowship, visiting, and ministering to those in need. Call 210.626.2110 for contact information.

                          Evergreens

We have our monthly social on second Saturday of each month  @ 5pm.  We will have a covered dish dinner followed by a music celebration.

                      Men'sPrayer Breakfast

The Men's prayer breakfast is on the first Sunday of each month  @ 8am.  All men are welcome to join us for breakfast and a great time of fellowship and testimony.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEAL 

Every Wednesday @ 5:00pm a meal is
provided for everyone.
The meal is free, we just ask that you
provide a dessert.

 UP COMING EVENTS

FIFTH SUNDAY MEAL

Our next 5th Sunday meal will be Sunday, May 30th, following the 11;00 service.  The church will provide the brisket.  We ask that you help by bringing the following:  potato salad, pasta salad, macaroni salad, baked beans,  or anything else that goes with brisket.  Please bring dessert as well.  We ask that you bring enough for your family plus some.

 SENIOR RECOGNITION

May 30th will be our graduating seniors day of recognition.  They will share their accomplishments, and plans.  Come and support them.

FREE LUNCH PROGRAM

Beginning July 1st, 2010 at 12:00 noon, there will be free lunches provided for any child age 1 year to 18 years old.  Parents must bring their child to the church and all food must stay on the church campus.  This is open to anyone in the community. This wll take place the entire month of July, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
